Covered porch ceiling finished in warm tongue and groove boards
Ocala, FL · Locally owned

Specialty lumber for homes, barns, and job sites across central Florida.

Tongue & groove, V-joint, and shiplap — milled from pine, with cypress, poplar, and other hardwoods available on special order. We're not the big-box store. We're the yard you call when the wood matters.

Who we serve

Two ways people work with us.

Whether you're picking boards for one room or staging a 40-square truckload, the same yard, the same mill, and the same family answer the phone.

What we mill & stock

Three profiles. Run to spec.

The profile is the shape of the board's edge — it's most of what you're choosing when you pick "the wood look." Here are the three we mill day in and day out.

Stacked tongue and groove pine boards

Tongue & Groove

Our most popular profile. Boards lock together for a tight, finished look on ceilings, walls, and stall interiors.

Pine v-joint paneling boards

V-Joint

T&G with a chamfered edge that shows a crisp shadow line between boards. Cleaner, more architectural look.

Shiplap Siding

Overlapping rabbet joint. Equally at home as exterior siding or interior accent wall.

Wood species

Pick the species that fits the job.

Most interior projects land on pine. Cypress when weather is in play. Poplar and other hardwoods when paint grade or a specific species matters.

Pine

Look
Warm and knotty with the classic rustic-meets-modern grain most homeowners picture. Our everyday choice.
Best for
Interior ceilings, accent walls, wainscot, covered porch ceilings, stall interiors.
Finish
Takes natural oil, whitewash, stain, or paint cleanly.

Cypress

Look
Honey-toned with tight grain. Ages to a soft silver if left raw outside.
Best for
Exposed porch ceilings, soffits, exterior siding, and anywhere weather is in play.
Finish
Naturally rot-resistant; great with clear oil or left to weather.

Poplar & hardwoods

Look
Smoother, paint-grade poplar, plus other hardwoods on special order.
Best for
Painted wainscot, trim packages, and finish-grade interiors.
Finish
Built for paint, but takes stain when matched to the right species.

Frequently asked

Answers before you call.

The questions homeowners and contractors ask us most often. If yours isn't here, the phone is the fastest way through.

What kinds of specialty lumber do you stock?

We stock pine tongue & groove, V-joint, and shiplap in standard 8–16 ft lengths, with cypress, poplar, and other hardwoods available on special order. Most boards leaving our Ocala yard go into ceilings, accent walls, porch ceilings, barns, and equestrian builds across central Florida.

Do you sell to homeowners, or only to contractors?

Both. Homeowners are welcome to stop in, see real samples, and walk out with material for a single room. Contractors get bulk pulls from yard stock, plus mill-direct truckloads on large runs.

Do you deliver in central Florida?

Yes. We deliver around Ocala and the surrounding central Florida communities, and we can route truckload orders straight from the sawmill to your job site when an order outgrows the yard.

What lengths and grades are available?

Standard runs are 8–16 ft in #2 & better pine, with premium and clear grades available on request. Cypress and hardwoods are typically 8–16 ft in select, #1, and rustic grades. We can quote longer lengths and custom packaging.

What's the lead time on cypress or a custom profile?

Pine is in stock by the bunk and usually ready same week. Cypress is stocked seasonally and ships mill-direct on bulk. Custom widths, thicknesses, and edge profiles run on a short queue at the mill — call us with your detail and we'll quote a real lead time.

Can I see and feel samples before I commit?

Yes. Bring a photo, a Pinterest board, or a rough idea and we'll pull real boards off the rack so you can compare profile, species, and finish in person.
